Homeschool Flower Farm Classes

Come out to the farm this fall and learn alongside us as we delve into fun ways to play with flowers! All classes are geared towards older kids, but each one indicates the minimum age to be involved in the class. Parents must stay onsite for the duration of the class and are welcome to bring other kids to wander around the farm, feeding animals, walking the nature trail or simply enjoying the land.

Cups of flowers may be available for picking, but only kids 10+ will be allowed to cut the flowers.

September 16: Mason Jar Arrangements

Work on your own unique arrangement with the guidance of Farmer Dana! Choose from all local grown flowers to create a mason jar arrangement using garden style floral design techniques.

Great for kids 6+

October 21: Dried Flower Pumpkins

Come to the country and leave with a colorful mini pumpkin that will adorn your home during the beginning of autumn.

Guests will be led to create a dried floral pumpkin. Choose from celosia, ageratum, gomphrena, strawflower, and dried grasses to make a pumpkin as unique as you.

Great for kids 8+

November 18: Hand Built Clay Vases (guest teacher Sam Clark)

Come build your own clay vase. Participants will work with clay and then pick up their finished piece with Sam Clark following the class.

December 16: Dried Flower Ornaments

Choose two of our ornaments - a simple filled ball ornament, a more intricate wreath, or wood slice ornament - all are great additions to your tree and made with dried flowers from our farm.

Great for kids 6+

All classes will be held rain or shine. Please note that if you have multiple children, each will need their own ticket for class.
